Should I Finish ADOFAI before playing Neo Cosmos?
We would say, yes. Neo Cosmos is a difficult DLC and it is best enjoyed if you have completed Worlds 7-12 in the main game.
What is new in Neo Cosmos?
The game now has 5 brand-new worlds with different mechanics and gimmicks. Level events uniquely made for Neo Cosmos have been added to Level Editor and Steam Workshop allows you to share your levels with others. New original music, characters, surprises and by far the most unexpected feature… a compelling story is waiting for you in Neo Cosmos.
Graphics
The rhythm games such as osu! or Taiko are well-known to all. Unlike those games, in ADOFAI, each world's background is beautifully designed to capture the mood of each song. Neo Cosmos does not fail to live up to expectations and delivers incredible graphics.
Characters
Yes, we said there are new characters and you might wonder how we have ‘characters’ in a game that only features revolving circles. In Neo Cosmos each circle has its own personality, and way of moving and they even have a pattern of interacting with each other. This seemed forced and bizarre to me at first, but the more I played and explored the game, the more I enjoyed this new feature. It is a nice, creative little touch.
Should I Download Neo Cosmos DLC?
ADOFAI is already fun and entertaining, and the DLC adds more variety to the environment. The "story" adds more depth to the game as well. Levels are interactive and offer more gimmicks than the ones you know. The music is excellent as usual. The mini-games, puzzles, and character interactions were all great. If you are looking for more rhythmic content to keep you entertained, look no further because you have found it.
