How to Unlock a Mount in Diablo IV?
In order to unlock mounts in Diablo 4, players must first complete Act 3 of the main campaign. After completing this milestone, players will be sent to Kyovashad and directed towards Donan at the Cathedral of Light. Here they will receive the Mount: Donan’s Favor quest which unlocks their first mount completely free of charge. Head over southwest from Kyovashad's waypoint to find Oskar the Stable Master who will provide access to any additional mounts that may be purchased for 20,000 gold each.
These additional mounts are automatically unlocked for every character on an account so there is no need for multiple purchases.
How to Customize Your Mount in Diablo IV?
Players can also customise their mount with trophies and barding from any stable master if they choose. For those wanting more advanced customization options such as cosmetic items, these can be purchased with in-game gold or via battle passes and store items; however, some special customizations require Red Dust – a rare resource earned by collecting Seeds of Hatred from slain monsters in player versus player zones then smashing them into Red Dust at Altar of Extraction sites near Fields of Hatred towns found throughout Sanctuary.
