Lords of the Fallen Story
In this article, we will briefly examine the story of Lords of the Fallen!
The Price of Freedom
1500 years ago, humanity entered a period of oppression in which a cruel and selfish god spread cruelty and terror to the human world. A person hidden in his own shadow refuses to bow to this pressure and rebels for humanity's freedom. In this war between God and humanity, humanity aims to break the rules of the deer god.
To resist this overwhelming divine power, humanity creates three heroes called Judges. These heroes radiate as symbols of courage, strength, and freedom in the war against Rogar. One by one, humanity and the heroes take down the lords of Rogar and finally encounter the deer, the god himself. After a long and difficult battle, humanity's heroes manage to defeat the deer god and end its tyranny, freeing humanity again.
The god's soul, weakened and pale, falls into a deep sleep and rests for centuries. Humanity and the lands the god once ruled begin to develop again around the hand of the god's corpse. In the years of safe and peace, humanity began to call this piece of corpse the Hand of God Mountains. This mountain becomes a symbol and reminds humanity of the slaughter-filled war between them and God.
Era of the Judges
After God is banished, humanity is ruled by three judges who are humanity's heroes. After the victory of the heroes, a balance between humanity and gods and good and evil begins for centuries, or so we have been told. During this period, humanity began to discover the purposes of creation and understand the value of freedom without sacred pressures.
Centuries later, the noble Antanas, a descendant of the original judges, desires more than freedom. Antanas ignores freedom and seeks a break from mortal constraints. Antanas aims to seize the power and existence of the god who oppressed humanity centuries ago. Setting out for this purpose, Antanas enters the forgotten and hidden depths of the Keystone Citadel to gain sacred powers.
Neither Human nor God
Antanas realizes that he can purify his soul from evil with the knowledge and power he finds in the depths of the Keystone Citadel. But contrary to his thoughts, it is not possible to completely purify the soul from evil or good. Still, Antanas evolves himself using the knowledge he has acquired. But the result was not to turn into a divine being as Antanas wanted. Antanas fails to transform himself into either human or god form. He erases his humanity and transforms himself into a monstrous being.
Even if Antanas fails, his thirst for power remains unquenchable. He becomes obsessed with transforming himself into a godly being, or at least into a being equal to godly powers, regardless of the consequences. As a result of Antanas' experiments and his hunger for power, the balance of good and evil in the universe is disrupted. The deer god, who was banished centuries ago, awakens again, realizing this corruption in the universe. The changes in the divine power created by Antanas with his mortal desires lead humanity into disaster again.
